Now I ask you to
examine why you took my very clear statement so wrong.
I took it just as it was written. And frankly, when someone
writes that smugness is "crippling" I suspect that either
they don't have control over their own rhetoric or that,
yup, they're a moron. Or both!

I haven't seen you all in rec.pets.dogs.health before so I'm
assuming that you're coming in from the vegetarian ethics
newsgroup, where people who disagree with vegetarianism go
to yell at vegetarians. *BIG* *MAN*! That's really
impressive.

Douchebag.

Vegetables are food for food.
Therefore, vegetarians are food.

I have no problem with vegetarianism for health or religious reasons,
but I do for moral or ethical reasons.
How many bunnies and gophers were killed by the combine harvester that
gathered the grain for your bread?

A few, but there are MANY, MANY smaller animals sacrificed in crop
agriculture, voles, newts, lizards, frogs, mice, many of which are poisoned.

That's not the way I took it, Melinda. I though he was saying that the
mere fact that vegetarianism is a great idea doesn't mean no
self-proclaimed vegetarians are douchebags. There's plenty of us
ass-holes out here from all dietary persuasions.

Cheers-
