because ISPs like mine say that this group isn't a binary group, so
binaries including pictures are filtered out. It seems that the news
servers at Demon Internet would collapse under the strain of the daily
picture that this group posts.
Try this news service instead: freetext.usenetserver.com

Thank you moo much for this information.
Since Comcast switched news servers this month,
I have not been able to enjoy my daily cow picture...
Infact, these are the ONLY posts I've seen here all month!

It was the same for me. If a couple people had not responded saying how
funny the cowtoons were, I would have still thought they didn't happen
anymore.

As an ISP, Rogers cable (in Canada) has gone down the tubes. Giving
Yahoo the email, and Geocities the webpages. This, just after I went
through with a contract to stay with Rogers for two years in order to
get 15% off on the bill. As soon as that expires, I'm going DSL.
